VOLUNTEER

We are always looking for eager, dedicated and motivated volunteers who want to be a part of touching someone’s life and making their prom unforgettable.There are many opportunities for volunteers.  We will be having 4 meetings to help plan and establish the tasks and responsibilities for all of the volunteers who will be working closely with the board members. We will pick chairs for the event from our volunteers who have participated for a couple of years and are juniors.

Fashion Show Volunteers:

If you are a student, you can be a volunteer for the fashion show by attending the planning meeting, and three other meetings in the fall and early January. You will be able to volunteer for the different tasks during those meetings. Some of these tasks could include:

• Working to obtain items for the auctions​
• Working with your school as a liaison
• Promoting the show at your school
• Selling raffle tickets at the show
• Helping backstage during the show
• Manning the auction
• Being a photographer or videographer
• Help wrapping the signature “Cinderella’s Closet” auction items
• **Young man? We will need your help being a ticket collector & controlling the crowd

For the adults, you can volunteer for tasks that include:

• Reaching out to find sponsors from local and state businesses
• Help with the set-up of the boutique

Pre-Boutique Volunteers:

In preparation for the boutique, we will need students to volunteer for the following:

• Sorting through the donations
• Tagging the gowns
• Arranging items by sizes
• Setting up the racks by color and sizes

In preparation for the boutique, we will also need adults to volunteer with the following:

• Promoting the boutique through local media
• Finding a local business to help with the transportation inventory

Boutique Volunteers:

The day of the boutique, we will need students to help with the following:

• Help "Cinderella’s" to find the perfect outfit
• Manning the different stations of the boutique (such as shoes)
• **Young man? We will need your help to assist moving the inventory to and from the venue and assisting our "Prince Charmings" find their outfits

We will also need adults to help with the following:

• Personal shoppers for each "Cinderella"
• Seamstresses providing small alterations for the gowns so that every Cinderella gets to go home that day with a gown
